Chef's Specials

We've entered a competition to create the finest pie in Wales.


Many of you sampled the astonishing aromatic beauty of our "Offa's Pei" over this last weekend. We're so proud of creating a pei that is sourced completely from the land you can see on the Off'as Dyke above Chirk.


Why not come over and sample this week. Unfortunately though, once Offa's Pei has been tasted, you'll just want more and more....

All pies will be priced at £9.99 including a pint or small glass of wine.

Pie Night - Wednesdays


Every other Friday at the Boathouse we celebrate the humble haddock. Sourced from our suppliers at Swansea Seafood, elevated by Shropshire's finest crispy Station Ale batter & accompanied by our lauded maris piper chips.


Dave will also be rustling up his own mushies and tartare sauce to accompany this beautiful dish.


We will be serving this all up with a beer or a small glass of wine for £9.99 (£7.50 without the drink)

We're very proud of our burgers at the Boathouse. Prime Welsh beef supplied by Mark McArdle in Chirk. Gorgious Brioche buns and Dave's spectacular onion rings.


So we thought. What if our customers could build something even better? Here's how:


Step 1: Choose your burger (3 meaty and 3 veggie) - choose form Beef, Chicken, Lamb, Jalepeno Bean, Butternut beet and squash, Spicy veg £7.95


Step 2: double up? - £2


Step 3: Personalise for £1 per topping: Bacon, Cheese, Fried Egg, Pulled pork, Chili, Pineapple, Gerkins, Onion rings, Fried onions! £1 per topping.


Step 4: Add a sauce: Tomato, Mayo, Mustard, BBQ, Sweet CHilli, Burger Relish.

Build a Burger - Thursday

Chef Dave and his team have specials on most days. It depends on how the Chef's inspirational currents are flowing as to what they may be.  As with all of our food it is freshly made, prepared and cooked on our premisis, with ingredients from as close as possible.  These are displayed on the specials board above our gorgeous log fire.


On a regular basis we have these nights,  not every week, but most weeeks. Week like to keep it flexible, but all events will appear on our facebook page
